NZPAS Needs Your Engagement & Support

Ever wonder how a government determines whether PAs can practice in that country? Many regulation protocols exist to determine if a healthcare profession requires regulation and to develop a clinical scope of practice. Many steps have to be taken. Organisations like NZPAS are instrumental in pushing the regulation application forward and getting the profession regulated.  But it’s not easy…

NZPAS works with the New Zealand regulatory bodies on behalf of PAs to address our specific issues. Your membership and donations help support:

  • Our work towards full regulation and prescribing rights
  • Government and public communication efforts
  • Promoting and updating information on PA job opportunities
  • Supporting PAs moving to New Zealand
  • Our work with international PAs to support the profession worldwide
  • Legal Consultation

Without a strong, active presence, our profession’s future in NZ is subject to decision making by entities that have little understanding of our role. Your membership dollars give NZPAS a seat at the table when it comes to regulations that directly affect our profession and the patients for whom we care.
